K-Designers was started by Larry and Lee Judson in 1978. The business opened with
four employees. Today we have over 900 employees and associates and are one of the
largest remodeling contractors in the
United States
. We firmly believe our success has been, and will continue to be, a function of
our commitment to give customers the best value for their money.

It means choosing our employees and associates with care, and keeping them happy,

OUR HISTORY

It was 30 years ago
when a major hailstorm hit
Casper, Wyo.
Golf-ball size hail left nearly every building in the city with significant damage.
Local contractors couldn't handle all the repairs and insurance companies were desperate
for help. So Larry Judson and his brother Lee decided to take their construction
experience to
Wyoming
to capitalize on the opportunity.

HISTORY OF SUCCESS

1978 |
K-Designers was formed by Larry and Lee Judson with four employees in Casper,
Wyoming.
|
|
1980 |
K-Designers outgrew Wyoming and expanded to Billings, Montana and Denver,
Colorado.
|
|
1984 |
Larry D. Judson was named President of K-Designers.
|
|
1986 |
K-Designers expands to the West Coast and establishes Sacramento, California
as its home office.
|
|
1990 |
K-Designers grew to exceed $18 million in sales with over 200 employees.
|
|
2000 |
K-Designers had grown to over 600 employees and associates with over $40 million
in annual sales, and became the largest Home Improvement Company in the West.

|
2002 |
K-Designers saw unprecedented growth to over 900 employees and associates,
with annual sales exceeding $49 million.
|
|
2004 |
K-Designers celebrated its 26th anniversary and relocated to larger home office
building, located in Gold River, California. Annual sales exceeded $55 million. |

2005 |
K-Designers celebrated its 27th anniversary. Annual sales exceeded $63 million.

2006 |
We continue to be committed to providing our customers with stellar customer
service.

2007 |
Larry Judson is named Chairman to GE Money Advisory Board.

2008 |
K-Designers celebrates its 30th anniversary and launches
new programs and product lines. |
